How do we break from this cycle and reconnect with ourselves? Can it be done without forswearing our current lives and moving to a mountaintop in Nepal? We say it can be done, right where you are, with just a little conscious attention and a willingness to restore balance to our fast-paced lives. It's painless and fun and natural. Best of all, by not moving to that mountaintop, you'll automatically help those around you restore balance, too.

I am pleased to find a new forum for this sort of discussion. You might also like a few of the discussions on Barbelith's Head Shop forum. People there occasionally struggle (in more or less polite fashion) with some of these issues.
